Kelly "Jake" Duncan is currently an English as a Second Language instructor in Splendora Independent School District. This is his 16th year as an educator. He is an advocate for student voice and for two-way dual-language bilingual immersion programs in education and is currently working on his Doctorate of Education. He enjoys speaking with teachers, parents, students, and administrators on the importance of biliteracy and its role in 21st century education. He also works with educators on implementing effective instructional strategies utilizing technology in classrooms.
